What You'll Do
- Review customer specifications and service requirements to develop repair scopes of work
- Prepare accurate cost estimates by evaluating labor, materials, vendor proposals, and engineering requirements
- Develop service quotations while maintaining company pricing guidelines and profitability goals
- Negotiate repair proposals, pricing, terms, and conditions with customers
- Interpret customer purchase orders and ensure all requirements are accurately captured
- Provide exceptional customer support by answering questions and resolving issues throughout the quotation process
- Partner with Service Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Field Sales to develop effective repair solutions
- Serve as the internal technical and commercial resource for service opportunities
- Maintain accurate quotation files, negotiation records, cost estimates, and service proposals
- Monitor competitive pricing trends and provide feedback to support business strategy
- Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their business needs and service requirements
- Participate in customer meetings, facility visits, and occasional travel as needed
- Prepare reports and provide updates on quoting activity and service opportunities
- Continue developing technical knowledge of electric motor repair processes and TECO-Westinghouse service offerings
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 2–4 years of experience supporting industrial products, customer service, applications, quotations, technical sales, or a related business function
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in electric motors, rotating equipment, industrial manufacturing, or repair services
- Experience preparing technical quotations, cost estimates, or repair proposals
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering documentation, or industrial service operations
- Strong negotiation and customer relationship management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Sales, and customers
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while managing multiple projects
