About the role
The Service and Special Events Manager oversees the planning, execution, and evaluation of events, while maintaining exceptional overall service. They participate in weekly BEO meetings with the catering team to review and coordinate upcoming events.
Responsibilities
- Schedules and supervises servers, bartenders, etc. for events.
- Ensures catering deliveries meet customer guidelines and event details.
- Demonstrates the ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and make decisions.
- Maintains catering supplies, small wares, and equipment in proper working order.
- Performs other duties as directed by the supervisor.
- Maintains a clean and organized kitchen and serving area.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent, preferred but can be substituted for prior service manager experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar Food Service/Events lead role.
- ServSafe certification is preferred but not required upon hire.
- Successfully completes required screenings: Level II background check, physical, and drug screen.
Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Skills
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and initiative.
- Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and make decisions.
- Knowledge of proper use of chemicals and following cleaning and sanitizing procedures.

Pay
$52,000 - $57,000 based on experience.
