Troubleshooting and Advice
- Troubleshoot over the phone and advise customers on repairing machines.
- Answer phones and assist customers with repair issues.
- Set up service schools.
- Resolve service entity problems.
- Take parts orders.
- Help the parts department resolve parts problems.
- Keep records of specially coded keys.
- Cook up service classes and other services with OEM vendors.
- Help sales groups with customer appreciation days.
- Help with inventory at year-end.
- Work on special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Computer skills
- Data entry (3000-3500 keystrokes per hour with 80% accuracy)
- Math ability
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good organizational skills
- Knowledge of company machines
- Working knowledge of electronics
