Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs while utilizing Tekmetric software for a smooth workflow.
- Provide informed and detailed explanations of service options, pricing, and timelines using Tekmetric data.
- Efficiently manage service appointments, ensuring optimal scheduling through the Tekmetric system.
- Create detailed estimates and work orders for customer review within Tekmetric.
- Communicate throughout the service process with technicians, ensuring that all repairs align with customer expectations.
- Keep customers updated on the status of their repairs, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service transactions through Tekmetric.
- Collaborate with the parts department to ensure timely ordering and delivery of necessary parts using Tekmetric.
- Stay informed about Tekmetric updates and automotive industry best practices to optimize service delivery.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry is required.
- Proficient in using Tekmetric software for service management.
- Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and customer service best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Able to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
