Responsibilities

  • Prepares service estimates, sells routine maintenance/repair services, and conducts follow-ups regarding unsold services and customer inquiries
  • Performs opening and closing responsibilities
  • Schedules appointments, answers phones, and collects funds for services performed
  • Predicts the time needed for completion and stays in constant communication with the customer during the repair process
  • Assists with the coordination of alternate transportation, rental car reservations, shuttle, etc.
  • Sells needed maintenance services and related parts to customers
  • Identifies customer requests
  • Conducts a complete vehicle walk around
  • Presents multi-point inspection results to customers
  • Recommends needed maintenance services and related parts
  • Conducts a detailed active delivery of each vehicle
  • Makes appropriate prospecting and follow-up contacts with owners
  • Provides outstanding customer service in accordance with dealership policies
  • Writes complete, accurate repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer policies
  • Provides estimated cost analysis of automotive repairs and routine maintenance
  • Provides in-depth information on original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part options
  • Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Intermediate skills in CDK or Reynolds and Reynolds software
  • 1 year experience working in a service advisor or express service advisor capacity

Pay

This is a commission-eligible role with an average monthly pay range of $3,000-$10,000, based on personal performance.
