Service Advisor

About the role

Diehl Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor at the McElwain Chevrolet Location in Ellwood City, PA. The position requires strong customer service skills, data entry abilities, and teamwork with technicians and other advisors.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a timely and friendly manner
• Obtain accurate information regarding the customers vehicle, documenting any and all concerns to the repair order
• Advise customers on the maintenance intervals according to manufacturers specifications
• Provide customers with a complete and accurate estimate for labor and parts
• Provide customers with a detailed breakdown of all charges for the services performed to their vehicle
• Obtain prior authorization from the customer or warranty company for repairs that need to be completed
• Handle telephone inquiries regarding customer concerns, appointments, and follow up with customers on work in progress
• Verify manufacturer and extended warranty coverage

Requirements

• Clean driving record
• Time management skills
• Commitment to 100% customer satisfaction
• Basic computer skills including typing and Microsoft Excel
• Organized, professional, and courteous demeanor

Qualifications

• Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
• DMS experience (preferred)
