As a Service Advisor, you will own our customer’s experience in the service lane. You are the first point of contact with our customers and will be well-versed in product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling, and customer service. We welcome individuals who are new to the automotive industry but have previous roles in customer service, retail sales, the restaurant industry, or hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
- Write Repair Orders, estimating the time and cost of every repair.
- Take ownership of the customer’s experience by carrying out additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer.
- Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether over the phone or in person, to ensure the customer is not mishandled.
- Prioritize required services and monitor the progress of vehicle repair throughout the day.
- Keep customers informed on completion times, service expenses, and possible changes.
- Ensure that the daily inventory of technicians’ time is consistently sold to service customers.
- Distribute work between technicians efficiently.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of prior automotive service writer/advisor experience.
- Previous dealership experience a plus.
- Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
- Strong time management skills.
- Fantastic communication skills with customers.
- Possess a clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
