About the role

Bill Cramer Auto is a family-owned and operated business serving the Panama City area for over 60 years. We are currently seeking a Service Advisor to join our growing team. This position is commission-based only, with ample work available daily.

Responsibilities

• Initiate automotive services and repairs by identifying vehicle performance issues and service requests.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage, explaining provisions and exclusions.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor, and obtaining customer approval.
• Prepare repair orders by describing symptoms, problems, and necessary repairs, and obtain signatures.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to customers based on vehicle inspections.
• Administer manufacturer warranties for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Present a friendly greeting to customers and help resolve their concerns.
• Inform customers about applicable service specials and provide updates on completion times and expenses.

Qualifications

• Previous Service Advisor experience preferred.
• A team player with a focus on customer service.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of automobiles.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• A positive and outgoing personality with high energy.
• Confidence and persistence.
• An upbeat, positive attitude.
• A strong work ethic.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
