About the role

Hussmann Corporation is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Service Technician. This position is responsible for daily reviews of service technician timesheets, examining and analyzing completed service work orders, communicating with service managers and technicians to resolve discrepancies, and supporting the preparation of quotes.

Responsibilities

  • Examine and analyze completed service work orders.
  • Communicate effectively with service managers and service technicians to resolve discrepancies and obtain missing documents.
  • Aid and support technicians and service managers in preparing quotes resulting from pull-through service work.
  • Participate in customer discussions to submit quotes, follow up on quote approvals, and schedule quoted work.
  • Audit invoices that have exported to the billing system, finalize sales for services rendered according to the customer's Request for Equipment Order (ROE), print invoices, attach work orders and other required documents, and distribute to the customer.
  • Maintain customer Rules of Engagement and billing system.
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payment and provide support to the corporate credit department to resolve customer disputes, rejected invoices, and past due receivables.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 0-5 years of relevant experience.
  • A High School diploma.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
