Server & Support Associate

About the role

The Server & Support Associate plays a crucial role in providing excellent dining service to residents while also supporting other community departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient, and professional dining service to residents and guests
• Take meal orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure resident satisfaction during dining
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas before, during, and after service
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Cross-functional Support Duties:
• Concierge: Assist with front desk coverage, greet residents and guests, and help with basic requests or inquiries
• Housekeeping: Support cleaning and upkeep of common areas and resident spaces as needed
• Life Enrichment (Activities): Assist with resident activities, events, and programs
• Maintenance: Provide basic support with light tasks or report maintenance needs as appropriate

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn multiple roles
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing needs
• Previous experience in hospitality, dining, or senior living preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry items as needed (up to 25 lbs)

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, team-oriented senior living community
• Requires flexibility in schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Frequent hand washing is required
