About the role
As a Server at Vivie, you'll be part of our community, providing exceptional dining service to residents while fostering meaningful connections.
Responsibilities
- Assist with seating, building positive relationships with residents and guests, and helping residents select their meals.
- Ensure safety and sanitation by setting and clearing tables, arranging seating, maintaining cleanliness and condition of flatware and glassware, performing dishwashing, and organizing clean dishes in designated areas.
- Maintain dining and kitchen areas through vacuuming, sweeping, mopping while adhering to safety and infection control procedures.
- Communicate effectively with residents and team members, proactively communicating and participating in special projects, assisting in other areas of the building, attending in-service training sessions and team meetings as required.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Collaborate and team with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Previous experience in dining services, food handling, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow emergency protocols.
- Proficient in English for effective communication with staff, clients, and visitors.

Pay and Schedule
- Pay Range: $16-$19 (non-exempt) based on location, qualifications, and experience.
- Schedule: Part Time | 3:30pm-6:30pm | 18 hours per pay period.
