Server - Part Time, Flexible Schedule

Duties And Responsibilities

• Greets customers.
• Takes food and drink orders from customers and answers questions about menu items.
• Relays customers’ orders to other kitchen staff.
• Serves food and drinks to customers.
• Cleans assigned work areas, such as dining tables or serving counters.
• Stocks service stations, cabinets, and tables.
• Sets tables or prepare food stations for new customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
• Previous food service experience is preferred.
• Excellent listening skills and detail oriented.
• Able to ask appropriate questions to deliver the best service possible.
• Experience in a hospitality, healthcare or service environment is preferred.
• Able to lift and/or move objects up to 40 pounds.

Working Conditions

• The Server works in a dining room and spends most of their shift on their feet.
• They carry trays of food, dishes, or glassware, which are often heavy.
• During busy dining periods, the server position are under pressure to serve customers quickly and efficiently.
