About the role

The Server is responsible for providing dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Phoenix Senior Living standards. Duties include proper dining set-up, providing meal and dining services, and cleaning of the dining rooms. The Server handles all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.

Responsibilities

• Provide dining and table services to residents and guests
• Set up dining areas according to standards
• Deliver meal and dining services
• Clean dining rooms after service
• Handle food in compliance with sanitary and regulatory procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living preferred

• Understanding of infection control procedures
• Ability to multitask and manage stress
• Competent in time management and organizational skills
• Understands and embraces the assisted living philosophy
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours, including peak service times
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
