Server - Lunch & Dinner Shifts

About the role

The Pacific Catch, Inc. family is seeking Servers who embody exceptional service and hospitality. The position reports to the General Manager and is part-time, hourly, non-exempt with flexible schedules and weekend availability required. Compensation is $19.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a positive Guest experience by presenting the drink menu, making recommendations, answering questions about food and beverages, taking orders, serving food and drink promptly, and checking in with Guests regarding their experience.
• Up-sell products whenever possible.
• Record drink or food orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the Point of Sale (POS).
• Accept and process Guest payment and provide correct change as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the Guest’s table throughout the meal, including clearing chopstick wrappers, dirty napkins, dirty glasses, dirty dishes, and dirty silverware as necessary.

Requirements

• High school education is required; a Hospitality or other degree is preferred.
• At least one year of experience in the restaurant/customer service industry is preferred.
• Experience working with a full bar is a plus.

Physical requirements

• Must be able to stand and move around for up to 5 hours at a time.
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds.
