Server - Jason Aldean's Kitchen + Rooftop Bar, Nashville

About the role

The Restaurant Server position will take orders and deliver them to guests while maintaining and enhancing the quality of customer service. You will work in close collaboration with colleagues and follow established health and safety standards to provide customers with a memorable experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Attend to customers, present menus, and help them select food/beverages
• Take and serve orders, answer questions, and make product recommendations
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Handle complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Issue bills and accept payment

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age
• Minimum of 6 months in restaurant and/or bar-related positions preferred
• Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High school diploma; food safety training is a plus

Skills

• Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience
• Customer-oriented approach and patience
• Problem solving and decision-making skills
• Hands-on experience in cashier duties and money handling
• Ability to use business applications for communication (email, chat, text)
• Excellent people skills
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Attention to cleanliness and safety

Schedule

• Part-time (less than 30 hours per week), with potential to exceed 30 hours including overtime
• Varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
