About the role

Porters are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in dining rooms, rooftops, and back of house areas. They must adhere to sanitation and company standards, handle multiple daily responsibilities, and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors in assigned areas
• Clean and sanitize equipment in assigned areas
• Monitor, clean, and empty trash cans
• Collect debris such as cups, cans, and flatware
• Ensure all floors are clean of debris and trash
• Complete all housekeeping tasks as directed by Management
• Adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Ability to access and operate business applications for communication with fellow team members (i.e. email, chat/text messaging)
• Professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
• Standing and exerting well-paced mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds
• Ability to perform work tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching
• Constant contact with guests and fellow Team Members
• Variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Exposure to day life/nightlife environmental factors including second-hand smoke, excessive noise, flashing/strobe lights, and stress levels related to interacting with guests in a fast-paced environment
