About the role

In this role, you’ll be a key part of our team, ensuring that every guest leaves with a lasting impression. Your voice matters here—use it to build the future, make an impact, and continuously improve the guest experience.

As the Server, you are responsible for effectively serving customers and extending great customer service by providing information to help with food and beverage selections, presenting order choices, and maintaining a great dining experience by promoting a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Take customers’ food and beverage orders
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner
• Suggest appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and specials
• Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience
• Confirm orders with the chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested
• Assist with setting tables and rearranging tables to accommodate parties
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of menus and beverage lists
• Maintain cleanliness standards in restaurant, waitstation, and kitchen service area to satisfy state and local health board requirements
• Control allocated guest checks by following established check-use procedures and legibly documenting all required information
• Receive proper payment from guests and ensure accuracy of guest checks and method of payment
• Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing sidework as instructed
• Attend all pre-meal and departmental meetings in person
• Respect all co-workers and managers
• Respond to customer inquiries and comments in person and on the phone by providing timely and knowledgeable information
• Present a clean and professional appearance at all times
• Have fun at work; leave baggage at the door; come to work with a positive attitude ready and willing to help create a fun and memorable experience for our guests

Requirements

• One year server experience preferred
• Basic math skills required; must be able to add, subtract, and count change back to customer
• Legible handwriting
• Strong customer service and oral communication skills
• Must be 18 years of age
• U.S. Work Authorization (required)

Qualifications

You’ll stand out if you bring:

• Wine experience and/or certification
• Experience with MICROS and Square POS Systems

Pay

$5.25 per hour
