Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and professional services to all hotel guests.
• Proactively accommodate guest preferences, flexibly assign tasks, ensure efficiency, maintain quality, and foster a hospitable atmosphere.
• Stock and set-up coolers, shelving, dining tables, service stations, and bar.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all menu items and upselling skills.
• Deliver food items to guest tables, bus tables, and follow up with guest satisfaction on the service floor.
• Execute room service and tray pick-up, break down, clean-up, and safely store all food and beverage items.
• Ensure accuracy of food orders, correct serving temperatures, and accurate documentation.
• Assist other staff members as needed.
• Stop liquor service if necessary due to overindulgence or under-age guests.
• Know wine pairings, special beverages, proper liquor pouring, and beer offerings.
• Complete paperwork accurately and efficiently (checklists, room charge tracking forms, cash out sheets, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness of food and beverage facilities and surrounding public areas.
• Check all fixtures, equipment, and room conditions for proper operation, settings, and maintenance.
• Report and address deficiencies promptly.
• Properly maintain all work equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries with sensitivity and immediacy.
• Comply with all department, hotel, and company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Previous food & beverage experience required. TIPS or Servsafe certifications are preferred but not mandatory. Open availability is required, including weekends.
