Server (FT&PT)

About the Role

The Server provides dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Phoenix Senior Living standards. Responsibilities include proper dining set-up, meal and dining services, and cleaning of the dining rooms. The role also involves handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and complying with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.

Responsibilities

• Provide dining and table services to residents and guests.
• Set up dining areas according to Phoenix Senior Living standards.
• Deliver meal and dining services efficiently.
• Clean dining rooms after service.
• Handle food in compliance with sanitary procedures and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• Understanding of infection control procedures.
• Ability to multitask and manage stress.
• Competent in time management and organizational skills.
• Understands and embraces the assisted living philosophy.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours, available during peak service times.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Schedule

• Nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Shifts: 6am–2pm, 11am–7pm, 2pm–7pm, or flexible scheduling.
