About the Role

This position is responsible for providing residents at The Fountains with the best dining experience possible, including taking food orders, serving meals, and maintaining the dining rooms. You’ll also assist with dishwashing duties and ensure a clean, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior aligned with Hilltop’s values, including setting boundaries, being predictable, consistent, kind, and transparent.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and staff.
• Accurately take food orders, place orders in the kitchen, and serve meals when ready.
• Clear dishes from tables during and after each meal.
• Set up service carts and ensure items are fresh and adequately supplied.
• Fill table condiments, cream, and sugar containers.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum the dining area after each meal.
• Clean and stock the staff wait station, Bistro, companion wing, and breakroom.
• Assist with cleaning, sanitizing, and safely storing dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and bus tubs.
• Perform deep cleaning, sweeping, and mopping as assigned.
• Inspect and maintain proper chemicals for the dishwasher.
• Serve residents and their guests’ meals in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning assignments.
• Ensure food storage, handling, and supplies meet Mesa County and State of Colorado Health Department regulations.
• Monitor par levels of food and restock products as necessary.
• Accurately balance the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
• Assign side work to other dietary specialists and verify its completion.

Requirements

• Minimum of six months of related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Colorado Identification Card.
• Food Handler’s Card.
• De-Escalation Training (preferred).

Pay

The starting wage range for this role is $17.35 to $18.21 per hour.

Schedule

• Full-time: Sun–Thu 10:30am–7:00pm or Tues–Sat 10:30am–7:00pm
• Part-time: Variable schedule based on availability
