About the role

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a part‑time Server to join the team at Finger Lakes Gaming in Farmington, New York. The position focuses on providing quality guest excellence, delivering service that exceeds expectations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and attend to guests’ needs, provide menus, and clearly communicate restaurant specials.
• Answer menu questions and collect food and beverage orders.
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and procedures.
• Accurately enter orders into the point‑of‑sale system, process payments, and prepare and deliver checks.
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers, kitchen, and bar staff.
• Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and side‑work duties as assigned, ensuring all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning.

Requirements

• Experience in cash handling and credit‑card processing.
• Beneficial: at least one year’s experience as a server in a high‑volume environment and familiarity with a point‑of‑sale system.
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 lb and stand, walk, bend for long periods, including walking up stairs.
• Visual awareness and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks.

Pay

$14.85 per hour (tipped position; hourly minimum does not include tips).
