Server Engineer – TSMC AZ

Location: Phoenix, AZ | Type: Full-time | Pay: $27.46 - $46.69 per hour

About the role

The role is focused on enhancing KLA's server products through collaboration with diverse teams and influencing product design. The KLA Services team, based in Milpitas, CA, emphasizes maintaining high performance and productivity of products. The position involves technical skills in server hardware, networking, and scripting to automate tasks. The candidate will also engage in developing service documentation and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Influence product designers to adopt features that optimize KLA's service business.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to incorporate serviceability enhancements in the software analytics product.
• Develop comprehensive service documentation, field service bulletins, and technical presentations.
• Drive the development and execution of a roadmap focused on reducing the cost of service.
• Define and drive feature requirement specification documents for server products.
• Support product life cycle management by participating in service readiness reviews.
• Take ownership of small-scale projects and lead them to successful completion.
• Perform detailed analysis of complex issues and create best known methods for server products.
• Identify areas for improvement in knowledge data and systems to enhance performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Master's Level Degree or work experience of 0 years, Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 1 year.
• Knowledge of server hardware and networking principles.
• Proficiency in interpreting, developing, and modifying Shell and Python scripts.
• Understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals and knowledge of protocols such as DNS, DHCP, HTTP, LDAP, and SMTP.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services, such as AWS or Azure.
