Server/Dining Assistant

About the role

Ecumen Detroit Lakes is hiring a part-time Dining Assistant. This position includes dayshift or afternoons/evenings shifts with an every-other-weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assists with food preparation, serving, and cleanup
• Maintains work area in proper order
• Fulfills dietary orders and portion sizes
• Serves meals to residents at proper temperatures
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area
• Operates equipment safely
• Completes opening and closing duties
• Performs routine and cleaning tasks
• Notifies supervisor of any changes in residents' health
• Responds to resident requests and concerns
• Supports colleagues in a demanding environment
• Assists with special events as needed
• Demonstrates respect for facility property and supplies

Qualifications

• Ages 16 and older
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Compliance with safety rules, regulations, and policies
