Dining Assistant/Server

About the role

We are currently looking for team members that are able to assist us in providing our residents with a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience as a Dining Assistant / Server. We have multiple part-time positions available in our food and nutrition department.

Responsibilities

• Accurately take customer orders, communicate orders to kitchen team members, and serve orders
• Keep the dining room clean, sanitary, and safe by wiping down surfaces such as tables, counters, chairs, menus, and walkers
• Cut fruit, prepare snacks, plate salads and desserts
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to maintain a safe environment
• Enjoy working both independently and as part of a large team
• Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds and stay on your feet for long periods of time
• Maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, team members and visitors

Requirements

• Genuine interest in working with seniors
• Patience and tact when dealing with residents, family members, visitors, and other staff

Part-time/temporary/seasonal shifts available, with a wage range of $17.50–$18.25 per hour.
