Job Overview

Opened in 2018, Amira Choice of Plymouth is one of our newest senior communities. Located at the intersection of Old Rockford Road and Highway 55 in the Northwest suburb of Plymouth, MN, we offer 94 units of Independent, Assisted Living as well as Memory Care and Care Suites. Our mission is to heal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, more meaningful lives. We are seeking a Server/Culinary Assistant to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Serves meals and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting.
• Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
• Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs.
• Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
• Fulfills the dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
• Fulfills proper work flow to stay on task.
• Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.
• Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.
• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction.
• Welcome residents and initiates conversation.
• Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
• Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.

Requirements

• Less than 1 year experience.
• High School Diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma, 1 year experience.

Skills

• Customer service skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow procedures and schedules.

Pay
