Server - Canterbury Park

We are seeking a personable and attentive server to join our Culinary Department at Canterbury Park. This is a part-time opportunity.

Pay

$17.50 - $18/hour, dependent on experience

Schedule

Day Shift available: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 6:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining room tables and ensure dining room cleanliness
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
• Greet residents and families
• Assist residents in selecting food and beverages by presenting the menu, making suggestions, and explaining daily specials
• Interact with residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner
• Maintain grooming and presentation standards, including wearing a clean uniform at all times
• Assist with special events as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Positive interpersonal skills
• Food handler's card (required)
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift 15 pounds
• Customer service experience
• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely
• Must pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
