About the role

The Server at Bold Rock Cider plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests in the taproom. They are responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing food and beverage orders, and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly upon seating and ensure tables are clean and equipped with necessary items.
• Provide knowledgeable and accurate food and beverage orders through the POS system.
• Communicate effectively with guests, teammates, and management, maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Ensure food is prepared correctly and to guests' satisfaction, returning incorrect orders to the kitchen.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests, collect plates, and clear tables after meals.
• Process guest payments by preparing checks and handling transactions through the POS system.
• Aid in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the taproom, including cleaning the dining area and restocking condiments.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• A passion for hospitality and craft beverages.
• Previous server experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and accuracy in taking and placing orders.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Collaborative and team-oriented work ethic.
• Ability to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
