Position Summary

The Server/Bartender/Beverage Cart positions are responsible for food service, completing and filling customer orders properly and in a timely manner, and have full availability for either morning or evening shifts. Pay includes tips. These positions are non-benefited, not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.

Required Qualifications

  • A high school diploma/GED or equivalent years of experience
  • One year of work experience in food service and/or bartending
  • Wine and beer knowledge
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain a positive work attitude
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Flexible schedule

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous golf course experience

Work Schedule

Seven days a week, a.m. or p.m. shifts.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $16.27 plus tips. The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
