JOB SUMMARY
The Banquet Server will work part-time with the Food and Beverage team to facilitate group events and banquets. Duties will involve assistance with set up and breakdown, service of food and beverage items, cleaning, and restocking. Each team member ensures that the venue is clean, organized, and ready for the start of functions. They will follow instructions from the Banquet Captain to ensure the quality of food and excellent service throughout their assigned shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Able to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment while being calm, collected, and accurate with attention to detail.
- Adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to include cash and food handling requirements.
- Completes room set up, following the floor plan as well as banquet event order
- Executes table setting, buffet setups, displays, and bars following the banquet event order
- Cleans up and cleans banquet spaces
- Presents and maintains a professional appearance and attitude.
- Works safely with sanitation, efficiency, and guest loyalty in mind.
- Maintains confidentiality and security of relevant information.
- Demonstrated record of successful interpersonal skills in regard to working with diverse people and levels of authority.
- Multi-task ability and able to complete all tasks with minimal supervision and show a sense of urgency no matter what the business volume.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively. Shows dignity, kindness and respect to guests and Team Members.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous Food & Beverage or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable licensing
