This position is responsible for creating and serving food & beverages in the Café, maintaining Café cleanliness, and providing the highest level of customer service and hospitality.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter and exit the Café.
- Create and serve food and beverage items.
- Promote daily specials and encourage upgrades to each order.
- Operate cash register, process payments through cash, credit card, or member account charges.
- Perform Café opening and/or closing duties, as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment according to State and Local food safety standards.
- Understand and anticipate the needs of members and guests; provide exceptional customer service.
- Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate.
- Active participation in events, programs, meetings, and training.
- Represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow-through.
Requirements
- Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience (food service industry experience preferred).
- State Food Handler Certification.
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) state certification.
- Professional, friendly manner and excellent customer service attitude and abilities.
- Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player.
- Self-motivated, takes initiative, and willing to acquire new skills.
- Well organized, detail-oriented, and high cleanliness standards.
Skills & Knowledge
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret training manuals, professional journals, or technical procedures.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from diverse groups.
- Problem-solving skills: identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
Working Conditions
- Regularly required to stand for extended periods; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear.
- Occasionally required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Moderate noise level in the work environment.
Pay
Estimated base pay range: $16.90 / hour.
