About the role

The Waitstaff position is responsible for cheerfully greeting customers and serving them in a prompt and cheerful manner. This includes taking orders and making recommendations, delivering drinks and food to the table, and checking on guests periodically. The Waitstaff is also responsible for maintaining a clean dining and restroom facility.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge customers with a smile and take food and drink orders, making recommendations as needed
• Deliver food and drink orders to customers
• Refill drinks and be attentive to customers' other needs
• Pre-bus tables and deliver guest checks
• Bus tables and fulfill assigned closing aide work

Requirements

This role requires the ability to perform various physical tasks, including:

• Standing without support for 66%-100% of the time
• Walking around the restaurant facility for 66%-100% of the time
• Bending, stooping, or squatting for 33%-66% of the time
• Pushing or pulling equipment for 1%-33% of the time
• Reaching above shoulders for 1%-33% of the time
• Grasping or gripping various objects for 33%-66% of the time
• Operating a cash register and tea machine for 33%-66% of the time
• Lifting or carrying objects weighing between 50-10 pounds for 1%-33% of the time
• Handling objects weighing 10 pounds or less for 33%-66% of the time

The role also requires certain visual, hearing, and speaking abilities, including:

• Seeing detail and beyond arms length for 66%-100% of the time
• Hearing customers and other personnel for 66%-100% of the time
• Speaking with customers and other personnel for 66%-100% of the time
