Server Assistant - M.Bird

About the role

Three Oaks Hospitality is seeking server assistants to support servers and maintain a clean dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and refill beverages
• Aid servers with payment processing
• Remove trash and sanitize menus
• Perform end-of-day clean-up duties

Requirements

• Well-organized and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills and excellent guest service
• Maintain proper grooming and uniform standards
• Ensure cleanliness of the restaurant interior and exterior
• Set and reset tables promptly
• Sweep floors throughout the restaurant
• Carry dirty dishes, glassware, and silverware to the dish area for cleaning
• Handle guest complaints professionally and notify a manager
• Communicate with managers and hosts about table availability and updates
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation
• Accurately perform opening, running, and closing duties
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Food Handler Certification
• Restaurant industry experience

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately
• Knowledge of operating point-of-sale systems
