Server Assistant - Lainey Wilson's Bell Bottoms Up

Essential Functions

• Assist servers in tasks necessary to maintain tables and assist guests.
• Provide friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful service of food and beverage.
• Prepare tables with attention to sanitation and set-up.
• Assure tabletops and chairs are sanitized and floor areas around them are clean.
• Understand and read food and beverage orders.
• Serve food according to safety standards.
• Confirm that each order is prepared correctly and complete before serving.
• Identify and inform management of complaints, comments, or incidents.
• Maintain a good rapport with FOH and BOH management teams.
• Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management in both written and verbal forms.
• Circulate through work areas to maintain atmosphere control.
• Keep tabletops, floors, and service areas clear of dirty glasses and unnecessary items.
• Maintain service station and equipment storage organized.
• Complete daily, nightly, weekly, and opening/running/closing duties.
• Clean spills and waste immediately. Sweep and mop as needed. Place trash in proper receptacles.
• Observe and anticipate guest needs.

Working Knowledge / Education / Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Ability to adhere to and enforce company, local, state, and government regulations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required licenses or work cards.
• Access and operate business applications for communication with team members.
• Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Work in various environments including indoor and outdoor areas, withstand high and low temperatures, and perform varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Exposure to day life/nightlife environmental factors such as second-hand smoke, excessive noise, flashing/strobe lights, and stress levels related to guest interaction.
