Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and service areas.
- Assist servers, bartenders and hosts when needed and understands food descriptions and ingredients of menu items.
- Run food from the kitchen to guest tables after ensuring each course is complete and accurate.
- Run beverages from the bar to guest tables and ensure beverages are always full.
- Remove used dishes and silverware from guest tables between courses and after guests leave the table.
- Communicate with server, bartenders and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization and guest service.
- Maintain cleanliness of all tables and chairs in assigned service area and resets vacated tables.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and work ethic.
- Team-oriented with a strong sense of punctuality and reliability.
- Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment while being positive, respectful, professional and having a genuine attitude towards guests and colleagues.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- TABC Certification, as required.
- Certified for food and alcohol service as is required by State and Local Agencies.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work standing and walking for extended periods of time.
