Server Assistant

Responsibilities

• Serve food orders and remove used dishes and utensils
• Maintain general restaurant cleanliness
• Deliver food orders from the kitchen/food truck to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately
• Work to keep the restaurant clean and maintained with duties such as sweeping, dusting, and picking up trash
• Support the servers in their daily tasks
• Remove dirty dishes and utensils
• Clean up messes and spills as they occur
• Help with other restaurant duties as needed
• Inform restaurant staff about customers’ feedback or requests (e.g. when they ask for the check)
• Promote positive employee and guest relations through professional communication and service
• Build cooperative working relationships with all departments to support smooth operations
• Perform any additional reasonable duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager
• Provide support in other Food & Beverage areas as needed

Requirements

• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills and willingness to go above and beyond for guest satisfaction
• Good teamwork skills and ability to maintain a positive attitude
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
• Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
• Physically able to work in an outdoor environment
