Server Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assures that all material used by server is clean and ready for daily operation
• Fills and re-fills water glasses and removes any place settings not being used
• Clears dishes located in front of guest upon completion of course
• Clears and resets tables when guests leave, to include but not limited to: changes tablecloth, brushes chairs, places chairs at table, replaces silverware and glassware, and replaces napkins
• Prepares and sets all items needed in the restaurant for the preparation of food delivery
• Ensures that all menu items are prepared with exact detail before delivery. Makes corrections as needed.
• Aids the server when needed
• Keeps workstations well stocked of items and ingredients
• Cleans workstations, takes out trash, and vacuums the dining room
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
• Performs other duties as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One-month related experience and/or training
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job
• Working Conditions: Frequently stands, walks and sits; Regularly uses hands, pushes, pulls, reaches with arms and hands, talks and listens; Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches; Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, carry trays above the head with plates of food, work indoor/outdoor environment; Frequently works with cleaning supplies and chemicals; Noise level is moderate

Compensation

$17 - $20 per hour (Depending on Experience)
