Server Assistant

About the role

The Junto is a modern-day embodiment of Ben Franklin’s club—a gathering space for visitors, locals, entrepreneurs, and artists to exchange ideas and inspire one another. As part of our team, you’ll help create a welcoming, energetic environment where guests can enjoy great food, drinks, and ambiance. This role is ideal for someone just starting in the restaurant world who wants to go beyond basic service by anticipating and fulfilling guest needs before they ask.

Responsibilities

• Set and prepare tables for dining, including folding napkins, cleaning, and placing tableware
• Ensure tableware is in good condition and report any defects for repair
• Stock, maintain, and clean designated food station(s)
• Assist servers with table service, including running food and serving beverages
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolving issues in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner

Requirements

• Prior experience highly preferred
• A proactive and friendly demeanor
• Able to clear flatware and dishware, clean tables, and replace linens
