Server Assistant

The Clare, a luxury Continuing Care Retirement Community in Chicago’s Gold Coast, is hiring a part-time Server Assistant for its Dining Department.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all dietary functions as directed by the Dining Room Manager
• Set up and clean up glasses, dishware, and silverware for meal service in all dining rooms
• Maintain work areas in compliance with food-code sanitation standards and community policies
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete daily tasks, including:
• Trash removal
• Operating the dish machine
• Special clean-up duties

Requirements

• Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical exam
• Provide vaccination status for MMR, chicken pox, hepatitis, flu, and COVID-19

Pay

$17 – $18 per hour

Schedule

Part-time, 20+ hours per week; variable shifts including AM and PM
