SERVER ASSISTANT
Job Description
Little Mountain is a wood-fired kitchen rooted in Montecito's coastal culture, recognized by the California Michelin Guide within our first six months of opening. We're looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Server Assistant to join our dining room team in a back server and food runner capacity — someone who takes pride in the details and genuinely loves being part of a great meal.
- Deliver our dishes with confidence, bringing real knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and where they come from
- Reset tables with care and an eye for detail, keeping the dining room feeling fresh throughout the night
- Anticipate what the team needs — glassware, flatware, stations stocked — before anyone has to ask
- Cook with the team to keep timing sharp and service seamless
- Stay attuned to the room: water refilled, plates cleared, guests looked after
- Communicate clearly with the dining room and expo to handle any hiccups gracefully
- Uphold Little Mountain's standards for cleanliness, warmth, and an exceptional guest experience

We love candidates who come from outside traditional restaurant backgrounds — farmers market vendors, winery workers, farm hands, CSA enthusiasts, home cooks obsessed with sourcing. COMPENSATION
This position is: hourly, $16.50 - 20/hr
