Server Assistant

Server Assistant Responsibilities

• Welcome patrons
• Serve bread & butter to patrons once they are seated
• Wrap utensils in napkins accordingly
• Clear dirty plates, utensils, and glassware from tables as required
• Carry dirty tableware to the kitchen area
• Prepare tables for arriving patrons by wiping up spills, clearing away crumbs, replacing soiled linen, and setting up tableware, napkins, and condiments
• Sweep & spot mop
• Deliver food to tables when Servers are busy
• Respond to patrons' requests
• Arrange tables and chairs to accommodate larger groups of patrons
• Ensure that the server station and bar are stocked with beverage glasses & ice

Server Assistant Requirements

• Sound knowledge of proper food handling procedures
• The ability to work as part of a team
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to stand for extended periods
• Excellent organizational skills
• Effective communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Must be quick and efficient

CA food handlers permit required.
