Server Assistant

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is seeking a Server Assistant at Goldfinch Tavern. The position is part of a dynamic team that provides award-winning service to both restaurant and hotel guests. This role reports to the Goldfinch Tavern management team.

Key Elements of the Job

• Maintain ownership of duties through hard work and discipline
• Anticipate the needs of guests and co-workers instantly
• Clear and tables, assist the floor, and enhance guest's dining experiences
• Deliver food and provide eloquent food descriptions in a synchronized manner
• Assist bartenders and cocktail servers, requiring a broad understanding of cocktails

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Positive attitude with a generous and uplifting team approach
• Strong work ethic including a drive to grow, improve, and learn every day
• Proactively anticipate and prioritize the needs of the guest
• Energetic approach to his/her craft
• Calm composure under pressure
• Excellent people skills
• Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs
