About The Role Le Flâneur, the signature French brasserie at Recess Hotel & Club, is seeking polished, knowledgeable, and hospitality-driven Servers to join our team. Inspired by the timeless charm of a French brasserie, Le Flâneur offers a vibrant dining experience rooted in genuine hospitality, exceptional food and beverage, and meaningful guest connections. As a Server, you will guide guests through their dining experience with confidence, warmth, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, wine, and service, takes pride in creating memorable experiences, and thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment. What You'll Do Deliver attentive, personalized, and professional service throughout each guest's dining experienceDevelop a thorough knowledge of Le Flâneur's food, beverage, wine, cocktail, and dessert offeringsGuide guests through menu selections and make thoughtful recommendations based on their preferencesAccurately enter orders and process transactions using the point-of-sale systemServe food and beverages according to restaurant standards and sequence of serviceAnticipate guest needs and provide genuine, hospitality-focused serviceMaintain awareness of menu changes, daily features, and seasonal offeringsPre-bus and reset tables throughout service to maintain a polished dining environmentCollaborate closely with culinary, bar, host, and support teams to ensure seamless servicePerform opening, closing, and side work duties as assignedMaintain cleanliness, organization, and stock levels of service stations and dining areasPromote featured menu items, wine selections, cocktails, and special offerings when appropriateResolve guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessaryContribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on excellence and hospitality Qualifications Previous restaurant serving experience preferred; upscale dining experience is a plusPassion for hospitality, food, wine, and guest engagementStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to learn and confidently communicate menu and beverage knowledgeExperience using point-of-sale systems preferredAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamAbility to stand and walk for extended periods and carry food and beverage trays safelyProfessional presentation and grooming standardsFlexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs requireCommitment to creating exceptional guest experiences through thoughtful, attentive service Why Recess?
