About the role
Part-time Server position at the Hilton Garden Inn restaurant, working breakfast hours (5:30 AM – 11:30 AM). Pay is hourly plus tips.
Responsibilities
- Prepare tables by laying out napkins, utensils, and refilling condiments.
- Stay updated on menu choices, specials, and kitchen inventory.
- Maintain proper dining experience: deliver items, fulfill customer needs, offer desserts and drinks, remove courses, replenish utensils, and refill glasses.
- Prepare mixed drinks (as appropriate) and serve to customers’ tables.
- Open and pour wine at tableside.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and return change.
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as directed by supervisor.
- Assist with special events as needed.
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Some familiarity with basic cooking skills.
- Previous serving experience preferred.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Positive interpersonal skills.
- Current food handlers permit.
