About the role

This position requires in-office presence, as it is an essential function of the role. As a Shift Supervisor and member of the department leadership team, you will direct daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure responsibilities are completed according to established plans and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains law enforcement officer designation pursuant to the Federal Reserve Act and Uniform Regulations for Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Officers.
• Meets all department standards and training requirements.
• Directs daily operations, supervises, evaluates, and participates in the work of shift staff, using critical thinking to resolve workplace challenges.
• Schedules and assigns daily work, monitors operations, and ensures alignment with strategic goals.
• Applies basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching, and process execution.
• Prepares and administers performance evaluations; recommends salary and recognition actions.
• Counsels and coaches staff on performance and personnel matters; proposes or administers disciplinary action as needed.
• Maintains overall building security and safety for Bank employees, facilities, operations, and assets by performing law enforcement duties.
• Patrols building/grounds, reports unusual situations or unauthorized individuals, and responds to incidents.
• Monitors surveillance equipment, intercoms, telephones, radios, and other specialized equipment.
• Demonstrates proficiency in operating policies, weapons (lethal and non-lethal), physical security equipment, basic firefighting techniques, and public relations.
• Exhibits reasonable judgment over life safety issues, handling of weapons/explosive devices, and sensitive information.
• Prepares shift reports, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Performs project assignments or ongoing special responsibilities, such as serving as a law enforcement instructor or providing training.
• Maintains functional proficiency in required equipment, including computers, access control systems, video surveillance, x-ray, metal detection, alarms, and fingerprinting equipment.
• May lead specialized programs at the district level, including supervision, compliance oversight, and training development.
• Maintains expertise in relevant subject matter, including industry trends and required certifications.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including operational and administrative functions.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or 3 years of equivalent experience is preferred.
• Four years of experience in law enforcement, physical security, or infrastructure security, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
