SEO Strategist

About the Role

LocalEdge, a Hearst Media Services Company, is looking for an SEO Strategist to join our Search Engine Optimization team. The SEO Strategist will provide strategic SEO services for clients, implementing emerging SEO trends and tactics. This role may involve some client interaction with a heavy focus on content creation. The position requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Success metrics will be based on growth in overall ranking of specific keyword phrases, as well as quality and quantity of work.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical SEO Audits of client websites.
• Identifies, recommends, and implements on-page website SEO optimization.
• Regularly creates and edits website content for a wide range of industries.
• Contributes to the development of the team and other team members.
• Routinely reviews campaign performance and adjusts strategies as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience with Search Engine Optimization is preferred, but not required. Candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
