As a key member of the Search Team, you will be at the forefront of optimizing digital properties for maximum organic reach. You will lead the charge in developing and executing comprehensive search and generative engine optimization strategies, translating complex data into actionable insights and tangible results. Responsibilities
- Drive and execute organic search strategy by defining detailed requirements, creating actionable engineering tickets, collaborating closely with engineering, product, and project managers, and ensuring the quality of all delivered work.
- Build data-driven monthly and quarterly marketing reports by using search data to identify and analyze trends from complex data sets.
- Perform frequent technical audits to identify areas of opportunity and communicate these findings with engineering and product teams.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in organic search optimization, specifically with enterprise-level brands and large-scale digital properties.
- Proven track record in improving page load times, optimizing crawl budget, and implementing schema markup and other structured metadata.
- Proficiency with industry-standard organic search tools such as Ahrefs, Google Search Console, SEMRush, and Screaming Frog.
- Strong data analysis skills, including expertise in Excel and data modeling.
- Functional experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, sitemaps, and structured data.
Skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail in spelling, grammar, tone, and clarity.
- Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset for working in a dynamic team environment.
- Working understanding of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies and how they relate to and differ from traditional search engines.
- Coding experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) tools, such as Profound.
