SEO Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a stakeholder for Advanced SEO/GEO, contributing to product and process development by participating in strategy discussions, sharing insights, and helping identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., WIT, CST) to deliver exceptional client experiences and ensure SEO/GEO initiatives align with client goals and business objectives
  • Perform research and conduct regular audits of client websites to identify SEO/GEO issues and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations that improve performance and visibility
  • Execute on-page and technical SEO/GEO tasks and recommendations to improve website performance and search visibility
  • Provide comprehensive training for new team members, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to contribute effectively to the SEO/GEO team's success
  • Monitor and report on website performance metrics, such as traffic, rankings, and engagement, providing regular updates and insights to clients

Client Communication

This role includes direct communication with clients. The Pro SEO Specialist will monitor and report on SEO/GEO performance, communicate progress and opportunities, answer client questions, and provide clear and actionable updates on search-related initiatives.

Team Collaboration

This position works closely with team members across Digital Ads, Client Success, Website and Integration, Product, and other departments to deliver exceptional results for clients. Success in this role requires strong collaboration, effective communication, and a willingness to share knowledge and expertise with others.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of SEO principles and best practices, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, local SEO, and content strategy
  • Two or more (2+) years of experience working in a client-facing SEO or marketing role, providing recommendations and updates to external clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively explain SEO/GEO performance and opportunities to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development to stay current with evolving search technologies, algorithms, and AI-driven search experiences

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with SEO platforms and analytics tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, BrightLocal, or similar technologies
  • Experience conducting SEO audits and implementing on-page and technical recommendations to improve website performance and search visibility
  • Experience supporting the training or onboarding of new team members in SEO concepts and tools
  • Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), AI-powered search, or emerging search technologies as the search landscape continues to evolve
