About the role

Amsive is a performance marketing agency that values collaboration, innovation, and personal growth. We are looking for an SEO Specialist to join our remote or hybrid team based in New York, NY or Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities

  • Support Amsive's organic programs and lead SEO and search-driven content and technical strategies for clients
  • Develop comprehensive keyword research documentation and strategic keyword evaluations
  • Create search-optimized, compelling metadata content and website content
  • Monitor and analyze site performance using SEO and site analytics tools, providing reports in Looker Studio, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and recommend solutions, collaborating with development teams for implementation
  • Assist account managers in translating client objectives into search marketing strategy
  • Communicate with account managers and clients regarding SEO strategies, tactics, deliverables, and performance
  • Stay updated on SEO industry trends and technologies, communicating these to clients and the Amsive team
  • Guide and support analysts in their development, enhancing their technical and strategic SEO skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or a related field
  • 2-3+ years of experience managing successful SEO programs, preferably in an agency setting
  • Experience with B2B and local SEO, including best practices for lead generation, location optimization, content strategy, and visibility improvement
  • Experience with local SEO tools such as BrightLocal, Rio SEO, or similar platforms
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve complex technical SEO challenges
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics/GA4, and other SEO tools
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JS, or Python (optional)
  • Experience with SEO tools like Screaming Frog, Botify, Lumar, Stat, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Conductor Searchlight/Content King, BrightEdge, or similar platforms
  • Understanding of intermediate marketing principles and ability to help clients achieve business goals

Pay

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This is a remote or hybrid position (1-2 days in-office) located in New York, NY or Nashville, TN. Remote candidates must live in the US and work in EST or CST time zones.
