SEO/GEO Content Writer

About the role

We are seeking an SEO/GEO Content Writer to join our dynamic team. This role involves understanding client products/services and target markets, conducting keyword and entity research, and collaborating with SEO Technical Analysts to develop and execute SEO/GEO strategies.

Responsibilities

• Understand client products/services and target markets, and conduct competitive landscape and keyword research.
• Create optimized copy for various page types, including conducting research as needed.
• Collaborate with an SEO Technical Analyst to review off-site authority signals and develop SEO/GEO strategies.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders, including organizing meetings and following up on client strategy.
• Maintain and monitor organic search performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Contribute to SEO/GEO performance reports and communicate results to clients.
• Work with sales and SEO team members to pitch SEO/GEO strategies to prospective clients.
• Collaborate with team members from other marketing channels to ensure a cohesive strategy for shared clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years of writing experience in a marketing or deadline-driven role
• A strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Passion for SEO/GEO and a proactive attitude toward enhancing knowledge and self-development
• Curiosity about the changing organic search landscape and openness to experimenting with AI tools
