SEO Data Analyst (Streaming and AI Discovery)

Location: Burbank, California Job Type: Contract Compensation Range: $50 - 55 per hour We are seeking an SEO Data Analyst to support and enhance organic search and AI discovery initiatives across a major global streaming portfolio. Reporting to the SEO & AI Discovery team within Marketing Acquisition & Campaign Services (MACS), you will analyze organic search data across international markets, build KPI dashboards, and deliver actionable insights to drive data-driven strategies across product, technology, and marketing teams. Responsibilities: Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track site and organic search performance across global streaming platforms; generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports with actionable business recommendations.Dashboarding & Analytics: Build and maintain dashboards monitoring core SEO KPIs and emerging AI search metrics across multiple third-party tools and internal systems.Deep-Dive Analyses: Analyze traffic, keyword rankings, technical SEO data, and competitive landscapes to uncover growth opportunities and traffic anomalies.Data Automation & Modeling: Develop automated data extraction and reporting workflows using APIs, SQL, and Python/R; assist with SEO impact forecasting.Cross-Functional Communication: Translate complex datasets into clear data stories and presentation-ready slides for technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in SEO or digital analytics supporting a multi-market, global web presence.Core SEO & Analytics Stack: Hands-on proficiency with Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, and core SEO platforms (Botify, Semrush, SimilarWeb).Technical & Data Skills: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, advanced formulas) paired with experience using SQL and Python or R for querying, data manipulation, and marketing analytics.API Integration: Ability to pull and work with data via APIs.Communication: Proven ability to turn complex data into compelling narrative insights. Nice-to-Haves: AI Search Experience: Prior performance tracking across AI search surfaces (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude).Data Visualization: Experience with Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar tools.Automation: Web crawling, scraping tools, and automated workflow experience.
